Dear Friends and Neighbors,
It seems like such a short time ago that the election was held and I went to work as your newly-elected Clark County Commissioner representing District E.
I put emphasis on working together – I asked you to be my eyes and ears on the ground. When you see a problem that needs immediate attention – graffiti, abandoned cars, trash, crime etc – call me and we’ll continue tackle these problems head-on.
You responded to that request, and we’ve worked hard to improve our neighborhoods. Many of you joined in one of a number of neighborhood clean-up projects we started – and we hauled away dozens of dumpsters stuffed with material from those clean-up efforts. We’ve towed abandoned cars, worked closely with Metro police, pushed for faster graffiti response, and I believe we’ve made a difference.
I pride myself on being open and accessible, returning telephone calls, letters and emails personally within 48 hours. I believe I’ve met that goal. And I’ve hosted a number of Town Hall meetings across District E so you could ask questions and raise issues in person. I want to thank the hundreds of residents who came with questions, suggestions, and –yes – even complaints. We need to keep hearing from you.
And, I’ve worked to make the process of government more open and understandable. I’ve made it a point to ask the tough questions and try to force debate on issues which affect our community. I believe it is my job to do so.
Now, I’m preparing to run for re-election. Together, with your continued involvement and support, we can make Clark County a better place to live, raise a family and retire.
Thank you for everything. I am truly honored and proud to be your voice on the Clark County Commission.
God bless,

Chris Giunchigliani
County Commissioner-elect, District E
